For 20 years, we have been manufacturing rugged, high-quality products in the imaging field. Now, The Imaging Source is pleased to introduce our line of FireWire cameras to the astronomy community.

Price listed includes camera and nosepiece (1.25").  The camera does not include Firewire cable.

To connect the Imaging Source cameras you will need Firewire cable and port. Please note that the cameras draw power from the Firewire port, therefore you will need 6-pin firewire port on the computer. Laptops are usually equipped with 4-pin non-powering Firewire port. To connect the camera to laptop, you will need special cable (6-pin to 4-pin with adapter connector) and a power adapter. Both are available from Imaging Source - please call us for these two parts.
